MEMBERSHIP STATUS: Individual

SUPPORTING STATEMENT: As a wider public member I feel I could contribute to the Governing Body for the following reasons; because I am not a member of any specific group, I could give an unbiased view or comment if called upon to do so.  My working career has been over 30 years in the oil industry at various levels of management.  I was involved in dealing with police, fire and local authorities sometimes at a senior level, to advise and coordinate emergency planning and procedures in case of specific incidents which could arise in the oil industry. I can also give presentations.  I have a good knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental procedures.  I am sure I could become a useful member of the team.

OTHER COMMITMENTS:
NHS trust as an ordinary member and able to vote for board members.  I do not get actively involved in the Trust.
