| Enter & View |
Enter & ViewEnter and View is a statutory process we have in place to allow the LINk to visit any premises where health and social care services are delivered. We do this to check on many issues including quality of care/services, hygiene and health and safety. We may enter and view premises if we receive complaints about a service but this is not the only reason we would conduct an Enter and View visit. In some cases, we are invited to perform an Enter and View visit to help services improve. The valuable feedback our Enter and View representatives can provide is very useful to the services and providers as well as enabling us to gather examples of good practice. We strongly believe that working together in partnership with commissioners and providers is the best way to implement changes that make services better for everyone involved, patients, public and professionals. Only our carefully selected 'Enter and View Representatives' who have had CRB checks and been trained will take part in an Enter and View visit. They are trained to evaluate all aspects of their observations, as neutrally as humanly possible. There are many things they will be observing and it is not necessarily negative. This is just one of the many ways we conduct our research.
