As a result of the Local Government and Public Involvement Act in Health 2007, a new independent service has to be set up to involve local people, groups and organisations, providing them an opportunity to have their say about how health and social care services are planned, run and improved.The service is a national service and there are LINks all over the country, located within Council geographical areas. We then had our Annual Event 2010 at the Immingham Civic Centre, Immingham. We try to go to events and provide promotional opportunities across the whole of North East Lincolnshire but you will understand this does take time. However, if you, a group you attend, or an organisation you want to represent want us to attend an event or speak diretly to local people please feel free to contact a member of LINk staff who will be happy to put the arrangements in to place. |
